Proposed Projects

New High School Building

One of the most significant investments in the bond proposal is the construction of a 44-classroom building on the high school campus. This addition will ensure that Deer Creek High School can continue to serve its rapidly growing student population. The project also includes a new kitchen and enlarged cafeteria, offering much-needed relief to the current overcrowding in student dining spaces.

This expansion is part of a thoughtful Deer Creek Master Plan, which, upon completion, will overhaul the existing high school campus by bringing all the academic buildings under one roof. This bond sets the groundwork for the full master plan, which will be realized through several future bond efforts.

Performing Arts Expansion

The bond includes an expansion of the Performing Arts and Athletics Center by creating a new classroom space for our band program. When complete, the current band room will be repurposed to support the growing Orchestra program, giving both ensembles dedicated, purpose-built spaces.

Annual Money Projects

The bond includes annual money allocated for use for all students in the following areas:

  • Technology
  • Textbooks
  • Performing Arts
  • Athletic Equipment
  • Maintenance

Indoor Practice Field

To support athletics, band, and year-round activities, the bond includes covering the existing practice field. This improvement will create more reliable practice opportunities regardless of the weather and will expand access for multiple programs.

New Warehouse & Maintenance Bay

The bond proposes the district’s first warehouse storage, distribution, and facility upkeep, ensuring district operations remain efficient and future-ready. This will also create additional bays for bus maintenance.

Playground Improvements at Elementary Sites

The bond includes playground improvements at Spring Creek, Deer Creek, Rose Union, Prairie Vale and Grove Valley Elementary Schools.
