It is our goal to have at least two Pre-K classes at all of our elementary schools beginning in August 2025. 

Yes, as always, community members are invited to speak at our board meetings as is outlined in our board policy.

School start times will be evaluated once boundary maps are set. It is our goal to have all Pre-K - 4th grade students start school at the same time each day. More information about this will be communicated after boundaries are determined and transportation routes can be finalized. 

Yes. All elementary sites will offer Antler Care. 

Pre-K students are not allowed to ride our school buses. 

• Our two middle schools will have separate athletic programs.
• The sports currently offered at Deer Creek Middle School will also be offered at the new middle school. 
• Both teams will play each other in athletic competitions.
• The mascot for both schools will be the Antlers. 

Third grade students who are being redistricted to a new school may opt to transfer to their current school site for the 4th grade school year (2025-26).

• Parents will be responsible for transportation

• Siblings are not eligible for an automatic transfer

• Families must commit to 4th grade school site during Spring Online Registration

• Seventh and eighth grade students will attend their home school.
• There will be no automatic transfers.
• If you wish to apply to transfer your child to the other middle school, you can follow the steps for Intra-District Transfers as is outlined in board policy. 

Yes, Pre-K will still be selected off of a lottery system. During the application, parents/guardians will notate if they have older children attending an elementary school in Deer Creek. We will use this information to try to keep siblings together as capacity allows.
