Logo Use Guidelines

There are three official, trademarked Deer Creek School District logos, in addition to a suite of school logos. The district logos include the Antler Deer Head, the Official Crest and the Interlocking DC Letters, as shown below.

  • These logos should not be altered in any way and previous versions should not be used.
  • Each school is provided with its own logo they can use as they choose. Schools should not create their own logos.
  • Sanctioned groups should not make their own logos incorporating the official Deer Creek logos without prior approval from the district. Sanctioned group logos should not include previous versions of these logos.
  • Official Deer Creek brand guidelines are made available to vendors and sanctioned groups. These guidelines include all best practices for using Deer Creek logos.
  • The official Antler blue is #0032a0 and Pantone 286.

Sanctioned Use of Logo

The district appreciates the fundraising efforts of our sanctioned groups – booster clubs, PTOs, etc. – and will work closely with them to help with promotions while maintaining the use of the Deer Creek trademarked logo.

In general, groups are expected to indicate – either by symbol or name – their sport or organization on the logo-related item being created. Any non-specific sport/activity logo wear or novelty item created by a sanctioned group must be ordered through the Deer Creek online store, with a minimum ten percent (10%) markup on each item which will be paid to the district. Groups are limited to two (2) generic, approved logo-related designs per school year, beginning in August 2025. This process allows the district to prevent competing sales on similar items and preserves the integrity of the district brand.

Apparel & Merchandise

  1. Given to student organizations
  • Apparel given to student organizations, particularly athletic teams can adversely affect the district's Title IX compliance if not done in a fair, balanced, and coordinated way.
  • All products and donations to students, student organizations or teams should be approved in writing by the athletic department or school administrator prior to promotion or distribution and do not violate the district’s NIL policy.
  1. Sold
    • All fundraising apparel/merchandise must comply with the guidelines provided during the sanctioning process.
    • If apparel/merchandise utilizes district marks, it must be approved by the district following the process outlined in this document.
