Are you not receiving messages via phone, text or email from the district or your child’s school? Here are some things you can do to help!
Check your spam folder for emails ending in @dcsok.org.
Weekly District Newsletters are sent from [email protected] and school-specific information is sent from the principal. You can find your school’s principal’s name and email address at the bottom of this document. If you find an email from the district or a district employee in your spam folder, hit “Report not Spam” to prevent this from happening in the future.
Create a contact for Deer Creek in your email address book or contact list.
Add [email protected] and the email of your school’s principal to your email address book or contact list. (Pro tip: add your teacher’s email addresses to your contact list to ensure their emails don’t go to spam, too! DC email addresses are [email protected].)
If you are a Gmail user, as a an added precaution, you can create a filter to ensure emails from Deer Creek are not blocked. (Not always necessary, but the option is available if you’d like.) To do so, follow the steps outlined here.
Note: Some businesses and organizations automatically block mass emails. Sadly, we cannot always fix this issue. If you continually find that you are not getting district emails, it may be beneficial to switch to a personal email address. If you’d like to update your email settings, contact your school site and they can help you.
