Superintendent's Report

Dr. Jason Perez updated the board on the following:

A successful Class of 2024 Graduation
Knight Ridge Elementary Bond Update
New Middle School Bond Update
Holli Wade, Kelsey Davis & Clayton Reynolds received Oklahoma Science Teaching Association Awards this year.

Stadium Naming Committee Update

The application to serve on the committee is closed, resulting with 85 applications submitted. The next step in the process is the selection and notification of 20 individuals to serve on the committee, which will be comprised of students, parents/guardians, patrons/community members and district staff.

New Hires

Ty Harrison was named the new assistant principal at Spring Creek Elementary. The board also approved the hiring of all personnel listed on the Personnel Schedule.

Board Actions

Approved all items on the consent agenda.
Approved the following proposals from Triple J Construction for concrete projects:
1. Spring Creek 1,800 SF concrete $17,500.00 (Activity Funds)
2. Rose Union 1,200 SF crack repair $9,600.00 (Bond Funds)
3. Rose Union 4,100 LF crack cleaning, filling, 89,874 SF parking lot work $23,482.32 (Bond Funds)
4. Rose Union parking lot striping $6,277.00 (Bond Funds)
Approved a bid from Oak Security to re-key the District for the cost of $119,008.06, to be paid from Bond Funds. - Dr. Jason Perez
Approved a Quote from AVI SPL, LLC for a microphone system update for $29,547.06, to be paid out of Bond Funds
Updated board policy JHB-Comprehensive Wellness
Approved a Quote from Managed Methods for a 1 Year Subscription for Google Workspace Cloud Monitoring for $15,640.00 to be paid from Activity Funds
Approved the proposed 2025-2026 School District Calendar
Updated board policy A-3: Nondiscrimination
